Reality T.V. and game shows are primarily designed to entertain audiences, and they often incorporate drama, conflict, and surprise to capture viewers’ attention.

Reality TV dates back to a golden era for television in America. Now, Its become synonymous with television itself.

Current State of Shows

Currently these shows are becoming even more popular as it is inexpensive to produce reality game shows, reality dating shows, and just reality T.V. in general. Mixing this with the fact that re-runs are becoming increasingly less sought out for makes for new shows to be made, and an increased amount of ethical concerns that come along with them.

Future Effects

While we live in our current era, we can already see the effects of our current reality TV. Negative impacts on viewers and contestants, we have to be careful in designing the next wave of reality TV.
